Dr. Hinkley earned his undergraduate degree from the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. He graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in
1981, and has been with EyeCare Specialties since 1992. He is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association, 30 year member of the American
Optometric Association, Past President of the Southeast Optometric
Society, member of Political Action Committee of Nebraska, Placement
Committee, Legislative Committee, and Intra Optometric Alliance Committee. He was honored with a Special Award for Contribution to Society for starting and running an eye clinic for the past 8 years at the People's City Mission. He currently serves as the Optometrist/Director for the People's City Mission eye clinic. Locally he is a member of the First
Evangelical Free Church and is on the board of directors for The Cornhusker Shooting Stars Basketball program. Dr. Hinkley is married and has two children.
