Dr. Reins earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan in 1990. He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994, and has been with EyeCare Specialties since 1996. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Optometric Association, and the Nebraska Foundation for Children's Vision. He is a Past President of the Southeast Nebraska Optometric Society, and was chosen as Nebraska Young Optometrist of the Year in 2002. Locally, Dr. Reins has participated with the Heartland Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, volunteers for the Lincoln walk against breast cancer, and volunteers for the Nebraska Special Olympics. Dr. Reins is married and has two stepchildren. His hobbies include, golfing, skiing, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors.
