Qualifications and experience in the following preferred:
- Performing optometric pre-testing
- Chair side assistance
- Experience working with an EMR application
- Patient charting
- Proficiency with computers and other office equipment
- Organization and prioritization skills

Optician, Beatrice Location

Additional responsibilities include communicating current and new frames and lens options to patients, understanding lens materials and frames, maintaining patient flow and patient care calls.
All Opticians work in a team environment and must have a positive attitude about the policies, procedures and philosophies of EyeCare Specialties.
Qualifications and experience in the following preferred:
- Assist patients in selection of eyewear, and give style advice as needed
- Be comfortable making recommendations to patients
- Proficiency with computers and web-sites
- Organization and Prioritization skills
- Attention to detail
- Good Mechanical Reasoning Skills (the ability to visualize and understand the application of various devices)

Additional responsibilities include performing contact lens insertion and removal training, understanding lens materials and options, dispensing lenses, maintaining patient flow and handling patient care calls.

Qualifications and experience in the following preferred:
- Medical office experience
- Computer use
- Coursework or thorough knowledge in anatomy and physiology of the eye
- Experience with contact lens prescriptions
- Thorough knowledge of common and specialty lenses
- Commitment to excellent patient care
