EyeCare Specialties is proud to participate in See to Learn, a program that ensures children are prepared to enter kindergarten with the visual skills to succeed. Children can participate in the program at the age of three. This assessment will detect vision problems that may inhibit your child’s ability to learn.

All children's frames and lenses come covered with EyeCare Specialties’ Warranty Plus. This standard feature replaces your child’s lost or stolen frames for 25% of the original cost. This may be applied one time during the length of the initial warranty, and no other discounts or insurance may be applied.

Order Contacts
EyeCare Specialties now offers convenient online ordering for your contacts. All contact lens orders must have a valid prescription, written in the last 12 months. Prescriptions from other optometrists are accepted and free shipping is included with all one-year supply purchases.
We are also proud to offer a selection of extended wear contacts. These contacts are soft lenses designed to be worn continuously. If you want to avoid the hassle of removing your contacts every night, extended wear contacts might be just right for you.

Specialty Contacts
Multifocal Lenses
These lenses are designed for our presbyopic patients — those who need to hold their reading materials at a distance. Presbyopia is an age-related eye condition that affects most people over the age of 40. Previously, patients had to choose either multifocal glasses or contact lenses with only one field of focus. Now, using new hybrid technology, patients can choose a contact lens that provides the clarity of multifocal glasses and the comfort of a soft contact lens. These dynamic hybrid lenses allow you to focus quickly from one object to another while providing comfort throughout the day.

Keratoconus
Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition in which the cornea develops a steep irregular cone. This condition requires a specialized contact lens to allow for clear vision. If you are a patient with kerataconus, we have several contact lens options for you.
Astigmatism
If you have been diagnosed with an astigmatism, EyeCare Specialties has a large selection of soft, hybrid, and rigid gas-permeable contact lens options. Our contact lens team will provide the perfect fit based on your prescription and preference.

Frames Warranty
Our frames are warranted for any type of manufacturer’s defect, under normal wearing conditions, for 2 years from the original date of purchase. Scratches and “normal wear” are not warranted after 60 days. Discontinued and some sale frames may be excluded. If your eyewear breaks due to a manufacturer’s defect, we will replace it with an identical frame style. In some cases, a substitute size or color may be provided. All broken or replacement parts must be returned to EyeCare Specialties to be replaced under the warranty. This does not apply to loss of your eyewear.
Lenses Warranty
Our lenses are warranted for a one-time replacement within a 2-year warranty period. Lenses can be replaced for a manufacturer’s defect only. You can expect a certain amount of scratching and wear to occur from “normal wear” and cleaning.
All defective lenses must be visually inspected before being replaced under warranty and all unused defective lenses must be returned to EyeCare Specialties. Certain insurance providers offer their own warranty policy for your lenses. If we use your insurance plan, we will follow the guidelines set forth by your insurance provider (VSP and EyeMed only offer a 1-year replacement warranty on lenses). The determination of defects and conditions beyond normal wear are left solely to the discretion of EyeCare Specialties.
