Our frames are warranted for any type of manufacturer’s defect, under normal wearing conditions, for two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Scratches and “normal wear” are not warranted after 60 days. Discontinued and some sale frames may be excluded. If your eyewear breaks due to a manufacturer’s defect, we will replace it with an identical frame style. In some cases, a substitute size or color may be provided. All broken or replacement parts must be returned to EyeCare Specialties to be replaced under the warranty. This does not apply to loss of your eyewear.
We offer a one year, one time warranty for manufacturer defective lenses. All defective lenses must be visually inspected before being replaced under warranty and all unused defective lenses must be returned to EyeCare Specialties. Certain insurance providers offer their own warranty policy for your lenses. If we use your insurance plan, we will follow the guidelines set forth by your insurance provider. The determination of defects and conditions beyond normal wear are left solely to the discretion of EyeCare Specialties.
For just $25, you can choose to insure your eyewear with the Warranty Plus plan. If your frames are lost or stolen, you can replace the frames for 25% of the original retail cost during the first year of ownership. Warranty Plus is complementary with each purchase of a complete pair of children’s eyewear purchased through our Kid’s Package. Warranty Plus may only be applied once during the length of the initial warranty, and no other discounts or insurance may apply.
